This year’s Limpsfield in Bloom will be a desktop exercise, judged remotely by the Britain in Bloom Judging Team via a portfolio of photos and videos, with a ‘virtual’ judging day planned for Thursday, 9th July, when the LIB team hopes our village will look at its beautiful best. Here’s how you can help Limpsfield go for another Gold!

This year’s theme is commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The colour scheme is red, white, blue and yellow taken from the RAF roundels in May 1940, and there will be a spitfire in Limpsfield that day – so do have a trip round the village to have a look – respecting social distancing of course.

If you live in the village we need your help – please plant your containers and hanging baskets in this colour scheme and put them out by 9th July.

The Limpsfield in Bloom team would love to see your hard work, so please send photos of your Limpsfield in Bloom floral creations to annosborn99@gmail.com by the end of June, so they can be added to the judging portfolio.

Feel free to share your photos on the Limpsfield In Bloom Facebook page: @limpsfieldinbloom.

We would love it if everyone could get involved and make sure any houses in the village look lovely and colourful. We’ve been blessed with amazing weather, but it means that plants dry out very quickly so keep your pots watered and enjoy your gardens!
