SES water will be undertaking improvement works to the water mains network in Kent Hatch Road, between New Road and Brick Kiln Lane, including the junction with Grub Street.
For the safety of road users and our colleagues working on site they will need to close the road for approximately six weeks from 20 January until end of March 2025.
From SES:
“We’ve been working closely with Surrey County Council and the Highways Authority on this scheme, with both agreeing the work can go ahead as planned.

A diversion route will be in place during the work period please note traffic delays may be likely for road users coming from Edenbridge direction.
The route will follow Kent Hatch Road down towards Crockham Hill, and then up Hosey Common Road, before turning through Westerham and along the A25 Westerham Road.
Bus routes 236 (1712 departure from Oxted) and 594 will divert via Westerham Road, Goodley Stock Road and Kent Hatch Road in both directions. All journeys will serve Limpsfield Chart in a clockwise direction via Moorhouse Road, Tally Road, Ridlands Rise and Stoneleigh Road.
