Did you know… that Oxted Library, Oxted health centre and all the shops from Ashdown Travel down to the Factory Shop are actually in Limpsfield? All Limpsfield Parish Council meeting agenda and minutes are published on the Limpsfield Parish Council website – www.limpsfield.org. 🗺️Minutes of monthly council meetings can be found in the blue folder in the Oxted Library Local History Room, which is where we also house our historic maps – available to view by request.📚There is a new secure noticeboard with agenda and information on the side of the Oxted Library on the approach to the Oxted Health Centre.📰Other noticeboards can be found in Limpsfield Village opposite St Peters Church, by Memorial Stores and on Tally Road, Limpsfield Chart. 🍏Limpsfield Parish Council supports Citizens Advice Bureau, St Andrew’s Hall Coffee Mornings, Oxted First Responders maintenance of Limpsfield-based Defibrillators, Limpsfield in Bloom and the Chart Fair amongst ad hoc local events and activities.www.limpsfield.orgEmail: clerk@limpsfield.orgFollow @limpsfieldparishcouncil More general Limpsfield info on www.limpsfieldsurrey.com @limpsfieldsurrey

Despite the rain last week, three of our dedicated councillors (Briggs, Wilson and Osborn taking the photo) planted two Japanese cherry trees towards the front of the Hookwood Bungalows – to replace two diseased trees that had to be removed. It was VERY wet, but they succeeded, and probably won’t need to water them for a while 🌸🌳

Another great footpath upgrade on FP209 near Guildables Lane with the assistance of @andycountryside, replacing a tricky and wobbly stile with a much easier kissing gate. Complete with new flank fencing to the left that keeps walkers safely away from the barbed wire. ...#limpsfieldparishcouncil #limpsfield #oxted #surrey #walking #walkers

Well done to the Tandridge Access Group (with support from Cllr Ann Osborn) for obtaining a grant from Cllr Cameron MacIntosh, @surreycountycouncil to install a mobility gate with radar key at each end of the footpath from Granville Road to Detillens Lane, connecting Limpsfield Village to Oxted. These are now in place with aggregate funded through the grant to improve the path surface. LPC has also funded additional aggregate on the Detillens Lane section as a result of requests by Detillens Lane residents. Thank you for the great work as ever from Andy Wright at @conservation_access....#accessibletravel #accessibility #limpsfield #surrey
