www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/drought-declared-surrey-live-updates-24741928Please note that a drought has now been declared in Surrey and we are likely to have a hosepipe ban enforced. We would urge you to please be responsible and not use sprinklers on lawns or other unnecessary use of water. There are many farms and small holdings in the area that are struggling at the moment and we need to be preserving water wherever we can. Thank you for your cooperation. You may have seen various new posts and oak information boards popping up by footpaths around Limpsfield… These are our fabulous new information and history boards for The Limpsfield Way footpath project we’ve been working on, following our funding success with Your Fund Surrey. This is a circular walk of about 4.5 miles from Limpsfield Village to Limpsfield Chart and the Limpsfield Common area. We are almost done and hope to have all the way marking complete this week. We have all the information on our website’s dedicated page for The Limpsfield Way, including a downloadable map, which we will also be printing shortly. Please go and have a look. limpsfield.org/the-limpsfield-way/We hope you will enjoy The Limpsfield Way with your families.A big thank you to all our team and volunteers, Your Fund Surrey, Barry Chandler for the construction of the lovely oak boards; Marian at FDK for our maps; Andrew at Conservation & Access for our incredible Rest & Play area at New Road and for the installation of all the posts and boards, and Michael Butcher for the easy access pathways at Grub Street and New Road, which will enable people with wheelchairs and buggies to enjoy our walks. ...#walking #Limpsfield #LimpsfieldChart #LimpsfieldCommon #surreyhills #familywalks
