Over the last few decades as traffic and number of cars has increased dramatically in all cities, towns and villages, parking on or half on pavements has become common practice.
We are very happy to report that following previous communication about the implementation of an Appraisal and Management Plan for the Limpsfield Village Conservation Area, this project is now underway.
As per previous communication, Ridlands Rise will be closed to all traffic, except for access from Monday 19 October until Friday 23 October. This is for Surrey Highways to undertake re-surfacing works.
The Limpsfield area has been incredibly proactive over the pandemic, with over 100 volunteers from March to July 2020 registering with either the Parish Council, St Peter’s/Village, St Andrew’s/Chart groups and the Limpsfield Facebook Volunteer group.
Please be aware that the railway crossing section of footpath 68 in Limpsfield, that runs from Grants Lane through the fields and out near Orchard Farm at Red Lane, will be closed until 30 November 2020 for repairs to the bridge.
Surrey County Council advise the use of the adjacent footpath 67 instead. This runs from Grants Lane just opposite Itchingwood Common Road to Red Lane.
