Detillens Lane and other local residents have funded and planted five trees on Tidy’s Green, on the A25 at the end of Detillens Lane. These are English native trees, three Crab Apples and two Rowan, very good for biodiversity and will make a lovely addition to the space. The Green, a designated "local green space", is owned by Tandridge District Council, and they have given their permission for this project. ![]()
Thanks to Tom Blackford for leading the project and to Cllr Claire Blackwell for her assistance in making it happen!![]()
The residents have agreed to water and look after the trees, and also hope to put a bench there in the near future. ![]()

There is currently a service outage in some parts of Limpsfield – we think this is due to the theft of a large amount of copper wire (from the phone line system) from Limpsfield Village in the early hours of yesterday / Friday night. ![]()
BT is working on this issue.![]()
In the meantime please make sure to check in on any elderly or vulnerable people in the area who may be without a phone.![]()

Great to see Surrey County Council’s guys out on Limpsfield High Street clearing out the gullies. A job very well done and hopefully will help to keep the water in the drains from now on, even with the downpours we’ve been having, which goes a long way to help protect the historic buildings in our Conservation Area… ![]()
