Following the launch of the Family Activity Trail in Summer 2022 (link below) the Friends of Limpsfield Common are now testing an Easy Access Trail!

The Friends of Limpsfield Common and the National Trust have now installed an additional trail, aimed at providing Access for members of the community who may need a route that is flatter than most in order to visit our Common.

The new Easy Access Trail , which also starts at the High Chart car park is now installed and being road tested !

The Easy Access Trail will be fully launched over the summer of 2023 – keep an eye on the Friends of Limpsfield Common Facebook Page for more updates.

With thanks to our tester, Julie Ludbrook, who is a member of the Tandridge Access Group, has MS and uses a mobility scooter. Julie loved the route and thought it very doable!

Julie said “It was a pleasure to test the Easy Access Trail and a big thank you to the Friends of Limpsfield Common for taking the time and effort to make what can often be an abortive trip very easy to use.  I don’t get the chance to do this very often as there are not that many woodlands that are accessible.  It was wonderful using the trail on my mobility scooter and being out in the woods amongst nature”

See details of the New ‘Easy Access Trail’ below. Enjoy and please send the FOLC your feedback, here: friendsoflimpsfieldcommon@gmail.com
