While we all hope that the coronavirus will run its course in as short a time as possible so we can get back to normal, we must be aware that there will be a number of people in our community who are more isolated than usual, may need help, support or just a bit of company.

If you have an elderly, ill or vulnerable neighbour, please make sure they’re ok. Ask if they need any help, offer to go to the shops, give them a call if they’re self-isolating.

There already seems to be growing sense of community spirit, which is lovely to hear and in this 75th anniversary year of VE Day, it would be fantastic to see some of that wartime spirit reappear, while we deal with the current health crisis.

This is the time to be grateful for the community we have in Limpsfield and to make sure we continue to value it and support each other.
