Limpsfield Cookery School’s Christmas Gift Fair

It was absolutely brilliant to see everyone turn out to support local businesses for the Limpsfield Cookery School’s inaugural Christmas Gift Fair and we’d like to say a huge well done for initiating this event. It really brought some festive feeling to the high street with so many local businesses getting involved.

Well done to Liz McGee for winning our beautiful hand-painted Limpsfield Parish Map. Drawn in 1994 by John & Margaret Rutherford and painted in 2020 by Cllr Ashley Fosdike. We have more of the black and white maps, so please contact the clerk if you would like to buy one. clerk@limpsfield.org.

Local Small Business Directory

We have teamed up with LimpsfieldSurrey.com to build a local small business directory – https://limpsfieldsurrey.com/limpsfield-small-business-listing/

Any small business can be listed for free as long as they are genuinely based and trading in Limpsfield.

It’s a work in progress and more businesses will be added regularly.

To have your business listed, contact Sophie @ business@limpsfieldsurrey.com.

There is a Facebook Page for Limpsfield businesses @limpsfieldinbiz as well as a linked closed group for business owner chat.

Covid Support & Volunteers

Life continues to be a little tricky and unpredictable with the currently Covid Tier restrictions and will remain so for some time. While most people have managed to settle into a routine, some may still need our help for shopping, prescriptions, company, general assistance or just a regular check in to make sure they’re OK. If you think someone may need assistance, please call or email the Clerk – 07514 011355 or clerk@limpsfield.org.

Please continue to be good neighbours and look after each other. It’s been so lovely to see how many people have stepped up as volunteers over the last year and we hope you will all continue your amazing road groups that have made such a difference to so many people.

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year with your families.

Be good, be sensible and stay safe!
