Volunteering rules – please read if you are helping around Limpsfield

Thank you so much to everyone who has been volunteering to help those in need around the Parish. We’ve been amazed by the huge effort of the community to ensure everyone is OK.

It’s very important that anyone volunteering is also following the strict guidelines as to who can help on street level (i.e. out and about collecting groceries and prescriptions etc) and how you can do this…

Playground closures

Please be advised that following government guidelines, all local playgrounds are now closed until further notice. This means that unfortunately, the Limpsfield Chart Playground is out of bounds to the public.

Be kind, be neighbourly

While we all hope that the coronavirus will run its course in as short a time as possible so we can get back to normal, we must be aware that there will be a number of people in our community who are more isolated than usual, may need help, support or just a bit of company.

Coronavirus update – what you need to know

The lovely chaps at Men’s Sheds in Oxted (based at The Woodhouse Centre) will be using them to store their wood and tools for workshops. They’re also turning our old suggestions boxes into bird nesting boxes.

The SGN gas works continue to cause a lot of problems, particularly at the moment with the 3-way lights on Bluehouse Lane and Granville Road, Limpsfield. Try to avoid if possible. They are scheduled to go on through to March 30.
