SGN need to carry out further safety-critical work to upgrade the ongoing gas network in Limpsfield. Granville Road and parts of Bluehouse Lane will be affected from May 4 for approximately 2 weeks.

On 4 May 2020 for approximately 2 weeks, SGN will be working in Granville Road at the junction with Bluehouse Lane.

While this will inconvenience some, it is far better this happens now when there is less traffic on the roads, particularly while the schools are still closed.

SGN should not need need to interrupt gas supplies to homes or businesses, and engineers will not be calling at residents’ homes.

The following works and traffic management will apply:

  • During this time, there will be a road closure for Granville Road (Bluehouse Lane end)
  • A diversion will be in place via Gresham Road and Bluehouse Lane
  • Residents’ vehicle access and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout   They will also be working on Bluehouse Lane from outside number 170 to 172 Bluehouse Lane were there will be temporary two-way lights to ensure traffic can flow safely around our works
  • Please note, bus stops will be suspended within the working zone at this time
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout
