The hugely popular Santa’s Sleigh, run by the Titsey Rotary Club is coming to town – visiting the Limpsfield Parish on December 11th and 12th. This very worthwhile endeavour raises a lot of money for local charities. Following is more info and specific dates/times for the Limpsfield area…
Santa Claus and Rudolph will be touring the area with their sleigh, visiting as many children (and parents) as they can, helped by Santa’s elves – members of Titsey & District Rotary Club and friends.
Santa will be giving sweeties to the children while the elves collect loose change for charities supported by the Rotary Club.
Santa and his team will be visiting Limpsfield on the following days and times (approximate):
Wednesday, 11 December – Limpsfield
5.30pm: Park Road, Park Close
6.00pm: Granville Road
6.30pm: Limpsfield High Street
6.45pm: Detillens Lane, Padbrook
Thursday, 12 December – Limpsfield Chart
5.30pm: St Andrews Way, Stoneleigh Road
6.00pm: Ridlands Lane, Ridlands Close
6.45pm: Ridlands Rise
7.00pm: The Carpenters Arms
Please note – these timings are APPROXIMATE. Santa, Rudolph and the elves will do their best to stick to them but Santa is quite old and he needs to stop for a rest from time to time. (Some of the elves are getting on a bit, too!)
Keep an eye on Oxted Facebook Group and the Titsey Rotary Club website in case the weather forces changes, and listen out for Santa’s bell on the evenings! Fingers crossed that there’s not TOO much snow!
The Titsey Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.2 million people from local communities who aim to try to change the world through community work and fundraising activity.
If you’re interesting in joining your local Rotary Club, the Titsey Rotary meets on Wednesday at 7.30 for 8.00pm at the Carpenters Arms, Limpsfield Chart.
