Help for local businesses planning to reopen

Tandridge is working to help promote local businesses planning to reopen from 15 June. If you’re planning to reopen, please let the team know when, and they will tell residents using their newsletters and social media channels. E-mail communications@tandridge.gov.uk with your details.

Time to get ready for Limpsfield in Bloom

This year’s Limpsfield in Bloom will be a desktop exercise, judged remotely by the Britain in Bloom Judging Team via a portfolio of photos and videos, with a ‘virtual’ judging day planned for Thursday, 9th July, when the LIB team hopes our village will look at its beautiful best. Here’s how you can help Limpsfield go for another Gold!

Latest on the Tandridge Local Plan…

Last week, Local Plan Inspector, Philip Lewis, published a letter to Tandridge District Council regarding questions on the viability and funding for the proposed South Godstone Garden Community scheme. The Inspector is currently considering his decision on whether to approve the Local Plan, of which the “Garden Village” is the key feature… 

Titsey Road Closure

Titsey Road will be closed temporarily for one day this week for repairs to cats eyes and the Limpsfield Village sign. The order is sanctioned from May 11th for through traffic between its junctions with Clarks Lane and High Street, Limpsfield, a total distance of 3200 metres. The road has now been closed to through traffic.

Granville Road Limpsfield – road closure from 4 May 2020

**POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE**

SGN need to carry out further safety-critical work to upgrade the ongoing gas network in Limpsfield. Granville Road and parts of Bluehouse Lane will be affected from May 4 for approximately 2 weeks.

Postponed / Cancelled: Limpsfield Parish Council Meeting & AGM

Please be advised that due to the current lockdown, our next scheduled Parish Council Meeting – 20th April – is cancelled. We will advise when the next meeting will be as the current situation with the coronavirus crisis develops.

Volunteering rules – please read if you are helping around Limpsfield

Thank you so much to everyone who has been volunteering to help those in need around the Parish. We’ve been amazed by the huge effort of the community to ensure everyone is OK.

It’s very important that anyone volunteering is also following the strict guidelines as to who can help on street level (i.e. out and about collecting groceries and prescriptions etc) and how you can do this…
